Is anyone else having problems with seeing the jpg icon previews? The cdr icons preview just fine.
I have 3 computers and it's doing the same thing on all 3. I'm using WIN7 64bit, Vista Ultimate 32bit, and CorelDraw X4. I have all of the Windows and CorelDraw updates installed and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled multiple tines.

Are you using the thumbnail setting? Not the icon or tiles. I have never gotten JPG to work using most view programs unless the setting in explorer was thumbnail.
You may want to try changing your file association for JPG to a different program an see it you display changes.

I have it set to show thumbnails. I can see the thumbnail previews when I set the default jpg program to the Windows Photo Viewer. When I switch the default program back to PP, all I see the the standard PP icon and not the preview.

Win7 Home Premium and Win7 Pro. Both computers are 64bit. I had the same problem using Vista Ultimate 32bit before I installed Win7. It was a clean install and I've got it completely updated.

Try:
Control Panel > Folder Options > View > uncheck "Always show icons,never thumbnails"
or you may need to uninstall and reinstall the "CorelDRAW Windows Shell Extension"

Thinking about it you may need to reassoicate the jpg files back with a picure viewer. Right click on the image and select open with...Choose default program > select the default windows photo viewer.

I just purchased X4, and I'm having the same problem (w/ .jpg previews).
Has anyone come up with a solution? (I'm running Win7 64)

Some peoplle achieve the status of expert through degrees, licenses, prestigious job appointments or awards. A few people without those advantages have the mantle of expertise thrust on them without their going after it, through word of mouth and a reputation among a close-knit circle of customers. However, most people without conventional professional credentials need to anoint themselves as experts, and this effort may or may not succeed.Earn the respect of your target market and take the uncertainty out of the process of becoming viewed as an expert by using as many of the following nine self-made credibility factors as you can.1. Media coverage. When a large metropolitan newspaper or a well-known magazine writes positively about you, acclaims you as a trailblazer or even simply quotes your opinion, you acquire the beginnings of a public halo that adds a golden sheen to whatever you are doing. It's much easier to orchestrate this than most people assume. Pick up a copy of a book on publicity, such as my own 6 Steps to Free Publicity, and implement the recommended tactics. If you're a pest control company with a 96 percent success rate in getting rid of bedbugs without harsh or harmful chemicals, you can certainly claim expertise in organic or natural pest control. Precise numbers are key in this arena. Your relevant achievement might be anything from owning a collection of 457 Barbie dolls dating back to 1959, having coached three successful American Idol contestants or having homeschooled 11 children, including four with special needs.9. Elimination of typos, errors and outdated information. Tips For Designing Windows Icons

When it comes to creating Windows icons, a lot of people are confused about what they can do in order to get an icon idea from their head onto the computer screen. So how exactly do you get that idea from point A to point B?First of all, you need to understand that there is a lot more to creating icons than just throwing together a few images and hoping that they look nice. As a matter of fact, there's quite a bit more to it. Here are the things that you should know:1. Never used a copyrighted image in any way. You will more than likely get your butt sued off of you, most likely get a fine, and you might even end up with a little bit of jail-time. Yeowtch. However, the way to combat this is by buying images that are free for the public to use-a lot of online archives offer these images for a small fee. It's a lot cheaper than being fined. Or you can create your own if you're good with Paint or other image creating programs. Keep that option in mind-if you get fed up with the images you download, then it may be a better alternative.2. Try and get your icon copyrighted once you have it finalized. The worst mistake that you can make is creating an icon and then having someone take it because it looks nice and they'll be able to make money off of it. You also don't want another person riding on your reputation's coattails either.3. Don't create just one draft of your icon. This is never wise, because in the end, you're bound to want to make changes. In fact, once you create your Windows icons for your product, let them sit for about a week. If they all still look good to you or you don't have a few favorites, then stick them back in the desk drawer for another week. If you have the time and you stillp get the same result, stick it in the desk ONE more week. Three is the limit, however. After that, ask a few friends for their advice or if you're part of a company, then ask yoru business associates what they think of it.There are loads of ways that you can create your Windows logos-one way is by using Paint. However, this isn't all that effective and there are certain things that you lose when you create your logos on that program. Instead, try to invest or look for a free icon editor. It will have all of the options that you need in order to create cool, professional looking icons.And let's face it-professionalism is extremely important. You want your icons to look nice, professional, and you want them to seem appropriate for your program. For example, if you created a program that helped your customers create sandwiches (for example, told them how many slices of meat, cheese, etc, they needed for a certain amount of sandwiches...), then you'd want a Windows icon that went with it.These are just a few simple tips and tricks for creating Windows Icons.

Bullet points are a great way of allowing readers to scan a page and quickly find the information they need. This is important for websites as visitors only take a few seconds to search for whatever they want. If information is not found quickly, then readers will move on to another website. Some web pages contain a lot of information which makes it difficult to find specific information. The use of short bullet points helps to break up blocks of text and direct visitors to important details. Bullet point lists are created for websites using HTML coding. This article explains the different types of lists which may be created with HTML coding and looks at the use of images and icons to separate list items.There are two types of bulleted lists. A numbered list is referred to as an "ordered list". This would be used for a set of instructions which should be followed in a sequecne of 1, 2, 3 etc. Letters of the alphabet may also be used for an ordered list. In this case, each item would commence with a, b, c and so on. Authors of formal documents might use Roman numerals I, II, II, IV, although this is less common on web pages.An "un-ordered" list is a bulleted list of items separated by a dot, circle, square or a small image known as an icon.The majority of bullet list items are separated by a black dot. This makes the list easy to read:• First item• Second item• Third itemThe dot can be changed to a square or circle by a simple change to the HTML code. The use of a coloured dot, square or image requires the use of a CSS style sheet. Using an image for a bullet point helps the list items to blend in with the colour theme of the website and gives a professional look to web pages. Images for bullet point lists are generally in the size range of 8x8 pixels to 12x12 pixels.
