こんにちは。
仕事が忙しいです。どのくらい忙しいかというと
昨日は1時回って終電逃してタクシーで帰って
今日は終電で、たぶん明日も終電なくらいです。
まあありがちと言えばありがち。来週頭は名古屋出張なので
そのためのデザイン案を作ってる感じですな。
毎度の葉巻レビューです。
●ボリバー ロイヤルコロナス(ハバナ)¥1,800
ボリビアの国名にもなったシモン・ボリーバルが由来です。
ハバナの銘柄では特に強烈と恐れ？られているボリバー。
今回はまだ吸いやすい部類と言われるロイヤルコロナスを購入。
サイズはロブスト。ドローが軽すぎるほどに軽く、人によってはスカスカに
感じるかもしれない。煙量は良好。
ナッツ系の芳醇な旨味からハバナのプレミアムであることを再確認。旨いです。
ボリバーの強烈なキャラクターというよりは、リッチな旨味が実に感動もの。
少しスパイシーな香りが心地よい。後半にはコーヒーのような味わいも楽しめます。
●ティ・アモ ワールドセレクション "キューバ"(メキシコ)¥500
たまに香るナッツの香りがハバナらしさを出しているが、
基本は草の香りとなにやら鉄のような味が混ざったような感じ。
個人的にはドミニカンシガーに近いものを感じた(笑)
キューバと書いていながらのメキシコ産なんですが、いわゆるハバナシードというもので、
ハバナの種子を他の国で栽培し、その葉たばこを主として作られた葉巻です。
こだわる人はこういうの駄目なんだろうな、
というのも結構酷評なレビューを多く見かけたので不安だったんですよね...。
しかしながらえぐみや嫌味もほとんど感じず、
それどころかむしろ旨かった。
純正のハバナ産でも不味いものはいくらでもあるわけで、
しかもこのコストパフォーマンスは脱帽のひとこと。
ハバナって書いてればいいわけでもないんだなーと考えさせられた葉巻でした。
他にもドミニカ、ホンジュラス、ニカラグアがワールドセレクションの名を冠して
販売されているので試してみたいなあ。
